XTERRA Abruzzo Trail Run is a unique running experience through the trails of the Sirente Velino Natural Park, in the heart of Abruzzo, where nature is still wild, forests stretch out like ancient tales, and mountains rise majestically against a clear sky. For some, it’s a challenge against time and themselves, for others, a way to reconnect with nature, without rushing, listening to the deep heartbeat of the earth.

What is the best way to travel there?

We are in the middle of Italy. You can arrive by train from Rome or Pescara and get off at the Celano - Ovindoli station. Then you can take the bus to get to the center of Ovindoli.
If you travel by car, you can get on the highway to the Aielli - Celano exit and then reach Ovindoli.
