The race follows the XTERRA EMEA TOUR rules

Swimming takes place in the Bystřička reservoir. The water rescue team of Karolinka with electro kayaks and paddleboards are present in the reservoir.

Bike transition are located 500 meters away from the start and the finish.

A cycling helmet is mandatory, no racer will be allowed on the track without one. Any racer present on the track without a helmet will be disqualified from the race.

No bike riding is allowed in the transition area, racers must push the bikes while in here; a racer violating this rule will be penalized.

All racers must have their helmet fastened when leaving the transition area; a racer violating this rule will be penalized by 2 minutes added to their resulting time.

The track is marked with arrows and white tape with the XTERRA DATART VALACHY TOUR logo. It is each racer’s responsibility to know the track.

Each participant’s number must be visibly attached to their body, for the bike part the number must be attached to their bike.

There are four refreshment stations on the track. For the short distance race, they are at the start of the running, on the running track and at the finish line. For the full race, there is one extra refreshment station in the first half of the MTB track.

Anyone who disposes trash on the track will be automatically disqualified and deleted from the scoreboard.

Participants who are less than 18 years old can participate only if a written consent of their parents is provided.

Maximum race capacity is 300 participants.
