Molveno Lake (map)
The Full Distance Triathlon begins with a swim in the clear waters of Lake Molveno, followed by a rewarding ride that combines steady power climbs with flowing descents through the Paganella Bike Park. A scenic yet challenging run through lakeside paths and forested switchbacks brings athletes to the finish line in one of Europe’s most iconic alpine race settings, where European titles across all age divisions will be decided.

You have to obtain a Triathlon License to race in Italy. You need to be a member of your country's National Triathlon Federation, and have a valid license issued by that federation. Alternatively, you can get a ODL (One-Day License) exclusively through the myFITri portal. You can read more about obtaining a triathlon license on our FAQ section.
We will be following the World Triathlon Competition Rules for the 2026 XTERRA European Championship. Please reference this link for full regulations.
Please note that all athletes are required to have a triathlon license to compete. For foreign athletes in Italy, you have two options:
You need to be a member of your country's National Triathlon Federation and have a valid license* issued by that federation. Please have a copy of this ready and present it at the registration tent during race pack collection.
*Please ensure that your license is current and not expired on race day.
If you don’t have a National License from your country, One-Day License (ODL) must be purchased exclusively through the myFITri portal. On-site purchase for daily membership will not be available.
To obtain the daily membership as a foreigner, you must:
Create a personal profile on MyFITri. You may need to use a browser translator tool to see the English version. (If the athlete to be registered is a minor, the profile must be created by the parent)
Fill out the online form and accept the terms and conditions
Upload a copy of the valid federation card for the year 2026 or a membership certificate issued by your Federation confirming membership for the year 2026, or, in case you are not registered with any Triathlon Federation, upload a medical certificate (download template)
Complete the payment (see costs based on race type) and upload the payment receipt
Wait for the validation of the documents by the federation offices
SUMMARY: You will need to show your valid triathlon license to race. You can obtain a membership from your country or purchase a daily membership through the myFITri portal. No license, no race.
