Bill Daley has been named the 2021 male Dave DeSantis XTERRA Legacy Grant recipient, enabling him to pursue his boldest XTERRA travel dreams in 2021.
Jessica Culver-Tapp was named the 2021 female Dave DeSantis XTERRA Legacy Grant recipient, enabling her to pursue her boldest XTERRA travel dreams in 2021.
The Legacy Grant honors the late Dave DeSantis, a true XTERRA Warrior and inspiration to all. In 2013, he was diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma and was given a year to live. He fought it with everything he had and continued to race XTERRA through his treatment.
Since 2003, the XTERRA Warrior Award has been given to a member of the XTERRA Tribe that has shown exemplary courage in the face of adversity, gone above and beyond to help the greater community, or personified the “Live More” spirit.
