One of the favorite races among cross triathletes, XTERRA Quebec is now held over two days and has significant improvements and additions that will only enhance the participants fun.
Completely improved experience, site and courses await you for this 7th edition. The transition and the finish areas will be located on the side of the Manoir nearer to the lake, participants will have access to the Manoir Spa and a have post-race lunch. A lot of work was done to the site and new trails were built in 2019. There will also be a lot of new features for bike and racing courses.
XTERRA Quebec is the 3rd stop on XTERRA's North American Tour.
Events
Saturday events (July 10)
* Discovery triathlon: Less technical bike course (beginner level) - Solo or team. 300m swim + 12km bike (2 loops of 4km) + 4km running
* Youth triathlon: Less technical bike course (adapted to the age of the participants) - Solo only
16-19 years old: 300m swim + 12km bike (2 loops of 4km) + 4km running
14-15 years old: 250m swim + 7km bike (2 loops of 3.5km) + 3.5km running
12-13 years old: 200m swim + 3.5km bike (1 loop) + 2.5km trail run
10-11 years old: 100m swim + 2.5km bike (1 loop) + 1.5km trail run
8-9 years old: 50m swim + 1.5km bike (1 loop) + 1km trail run
6-7 years old: 25m swim + 750m bike (1 loop) + 500m running
* Swimrun: at swimrun, no transition zone. The participant must keep his equipment from start to finish (shoes, buoy sweater, paddles and jumpsuit).
Individual standard Swimrun: 20km course / 10 transitions: 500m R + 600m S + 4km R + 600m S + 4km R + 600m S + 4km R + 600m S + 4km R + 600m S + 500m R (R = trail run and S = swim)
Swimrun individual sprint: 11km course / 6 transitions: 500m R + 600m S + 4km R + 600m S + 4km R + 600m S + 500m R (R = trail run and S N = swim)
Individual super-sprint Swimrun: 6km course / 4 transitions: 500m R + 600m S + 4km R + 600m S + 500m R (R = trail run and S = swim)
Standard Swimrun in Binomial: In binomial, the 2 team members must follow each other over the entire 20km course / 10 transitions: 500m R + 600m S + 4km R + 600m S + 4km R + 600m S + 4km R + 600m S + 4km R + 600m S + 500m R (R = running and S = swim).
Standard Swimrun Relay: Relay, the 2 team members must take turns (1 runner and 1 swimmer) on the 20km course / 10 relays: 500m R + 600m S + 4km R + 600m S + 4km R + 600m S + 4km R + 600m S + 4km R + 600m S + 500m R (R = trail run and S = swim).
Sunday events (July 11)
More technical bike route (intermediate level) with more elevation except for the super-sprint course. Each Sunday event can be done solo or as a team. * Standard triathlon: 1500m swim + 27km bike (3 different loops) + 10km trail run
* Standard duathlon: 2.5km trail run + 27km bike (3 different loops) + 10km trail run
* Sprint triathlon: 750m swim + 15km bike (2 different loops) + 5km trail run
* Super-sprint triathlon: 400m swim + 10km bike (2 different loops) + 4km trail run
