XTERRA Sprint Course Triathlon
Distances: 500m Swim | 16K Mountain Bike | 6K Trail Run
A ‘shorter’ race for people looking to get into off-road racing. A 500m swim in the Pacific, followed by a ‘less’ rigorous 16k bike before a nice and challenging 6k run.
1500m Open Water Swim
The 1500m Open Water Swim is here! Enter the water with all the athletes for a 1500m ocean swim in the beautiful Pacific.
Skip the mountain bike portion of the triathlon and participate in a 1500m ocean swim followed by a 5k trail run.
13k Trail Run
Looking for a run on the trails (no swimming or biking needed!)? Look no further. We’ve got a 13k trail run that includes some new exciting single track!
6k Trail Run
This trail run offers a beautiful course for those not quite ready for the long course.

Q: Natural Disaster Policy – If an Act of God/Terrorism/Community Disaster occurs, what happens?
A: 1. We make decisions based on safety first.
2. The government entities that manage the areas we are permitted to use, will also make a decision.
3. Race courses and race date will be altered as seen fit by race management and California State Parks.
4. Athletes in a postponed race will be transferred to the rescheduled date at no charge.
5. Generic Events cannot accept the risk of a disaster for everyone. Each athlete needs to accept the risk of his or her entry fee. There will be NO REFUNDS. The money you paid is spent developing the race.
Why? We do not save any money if the race is postponed or you choose not to participate. We have paid for every supply and service needed for that race. We pay for all race supplies or services associated with that race, regardless of the outcome. These include paying for permits, our staff, offices, and administration costs all year. It’s not ideal, and nobody likes wasting money, but we unfortunately cannot predict what will happen on race day.
Race Conduct – We will not tolerate any inappropriate behavior to any of our volunteers or staff. If you have a complaint please direct these to Brennan Lindner at INFO [at] GENERICEVENTS.COM. Failure to follow this guideline will result in disqualification from the event and possibly being banned from future events. Seriously. We’re all out here for some fun, so let’s have some!
