WHAT: XTERRA Herbi's Trail Run

Memorial five-kilometer run as a tribute to a friend Herbiho Tomas Prochazka, who was part of the team načeho and died in October 2018 in the war in Afghanistan. The proceeds from the entry fees will be donated to the voluntary fund for families of veterans 601 units of the Army of the Czech Republic.
Prachatice is a small, quiet town self-described as the “Renaissance pearl” of South Bohemia. Participants will revel in the surroundings as race headquarters, the finish line, and evening festivities are all located in the historic town square.

5K trail run
Herbi was the most enthusiastic crew member. Whenever he could, he came and helped us with everything. He was very, very strong. He was able to hold 3 water barrels in one hand, he never needed to rest, he was always ready to work, he never complained about anything. The real hero – Herbi. The start fee will be given to Czech Army fund for veteran families. This 5K trail run is named after him, the course is same as run loop of the main race.

5K trail run
Trail run will be hold in memory of our late friend and supporter Tomas Herbi Prochazka, who died in war accident in Afghanistan last year. Herbi was the most enthusiastic crew member. Whenever he could, he came and helped us with everything. He was very, very strong. He was able to hold 3 water barrels in one hand, he never needed to rest, he was always ready to work, he never complained about anything. The real hero – Herbi. The start fee will be given to Czech Army fund for veteran families.
Course:
After exiting the historical center you will have to run few hundred meters on the tarmac to get into wood on the slopes of Cerna Hora, a hill above Prachatice. This part of the course is full of narrow single trails, uphills, jumps, fords, rock sections and more. This is a signature part of our Czech run course! Last kilometer of the run lap is also in the historical city center. New addition to the course is run over the historical barriers, where we have built special steps. The finish line is just in front of the Statue of justice in the middle of Prachatice Great Square.
