Guntersville Trail Run’s venue Lake Guntersville State Park is a 6,000 acre state park in Guntersville, Alabama, with beautiful views of Lake Guntersville below. Distance options include 15K and 8K trail runs. These single and double track trails offer a challenging course to both novice and experienced trail runners. It is a course that opens enough for a large volume of entrants, without bottlenecks on the single track portions. It has lots of elevation changes without being overly technical and is set up for fast times at each distance. It is also a great mixture of single track trails, small stream crossings, gravel paths and wooded bridges. This venue has plenty of parking for all participants and a great place for spectators to relax, view the race, and take in the scenery.
