Golden Gate Canyon State Park, Golden, CO, US

The XTERRA Golden Gate Canyon Trail Run* embodies the spirit of XTERRA in both the 8K and 22K distances. The course is stunning and beautiful, with single track running through alpine meadows, pine forests, and golden aspens during peak fall colors. You'll want to watch your footing, but don't forget to look up for stunning views of the Continental Divide.

The 8K course will take runners through aspen, willow, alder, and blue spruce forests with an elevation gain of 1198 feet. The 22K course is the longest trail in the park and will carry you through undulating hills, open meadow, aspen groves, and dense evergreen forests. The race starts 8,855 feet above sea level, and you will gain another 1505 feet as you climb.

This event is limited to 200 runners of all skill levels so make sure you sign up early.
