XTERRA DR has been taking place for the last four years, on the beautiful beaches of Coson Bay. One of the most pristine beaches in Las Terrenas, stretching out to the sea. Sponsored by Coson Bay Hotel & Residences, Viva Wyhndam Hotels and Sublime Hotels.
The event takes place at the Coson Bay Hotel, located on the northeast coast of the Dominican Republic, overlooking the impressive Bay of Cosón, Las Terrenas-Samaná, it is acclaimed for its turquoise blue waters and golden sand beaches that are surrounded by coconut trees and mountains with exuberant tropical vegetation typical of the Central Cordillera Region.
For this 2022, we will have the Trail Run races on Saturday, September 3rd. The beautiful and demanding 21k route with spectacular views towards the bay will put your body, endurance and adventurous spirit to the test. We will have 10k and 5k routes as well.
For Sunday September 4th, we will have the Sprint and XTERRA distances (1,500mts Swim, 30K Bike, 10km Run), with a comfortable swim in the turquoise waters of Coson Bay, a 30k bike route charged with adrenaline, effort tests, rocky terrain and views that you will fall in love with. And finally 10kms of running where you can experience it all.
