Course Info - XTERRA Trail Run
5 MILE TRAIL RUN
Run east from the start to the yield sign, then turn right on the paved road to cross the bridge. Turn right immediately after the bridge onto Trail 2 (wooden steps). A long and steep climb tests runners right off the bat around mile 1. The middle section offers a slight break with more gentle grades. The final mile of the course is a raucous downhill then a flat, straight shot back to the finish peppered with three creek crossings (which are usually low enough to cross carefully and stay dry).
