Athlete's Guide
Welcome Messages

The spirit of international competition returns to Kenting with the 2024 XTERRA Asia-Pacific Championship, marking a welcomed reunion for athletes and fans alike. This year's event holds particular significance as it welcomes the second season of the XTERRA World Cup. Season one offered a captivating glimpse into the unwavering dedication and exceptional talent of Elite XTERRA athletes. In Kenting, these stars will converge once again, pushing their limits on a course renowned for its demanding terrain and stunning scenery.

Adding to the excitement are the 2024 Asia-Pacific Championships, crowning new regional champions in both the off-road triathlon and trail runs. Beyond the competitive element, this event embodies the true spirit of the XTERRA Community. We're privileged to host international participants who will not only experience the fierce competition but also the warmth and hospitality that defines Taiwanese culture. Their presence serves as a bridge between nations, fostering connection and understanding through the shared passion for off-road racing.

To all the athletes, both international and local, we extend our sincerest welcome. May your determination shine on the course, and may the spirit of camaraderie carry you across the finish line. We celebrate your dedication and thank you for contributing to the magic of this historic event.

J-D, XTERRA Global

As with every year, we always aim to double our efforts to ensure that every element of the event, both on and off the course, is derived from the very DNA that has made XTERRA what it is today: connecting people and nature, inspiring challenge and adventure, and protecting the places where we play. This is one of the many reasons, I believe, that has made XTERRA Taiwan one of the most exciting destinations for our community.

We just have to wait a little bit longer, and soon you'll be taking on the incredible trails of Kenting National Park, immersed in the unmistakable culture of this unique island, and surrounded by one of the most welcoming communities in the world of sports.

As the hosts of the 2024 APAC Championship we are once again proud to be welcoming one of the most competitive fields of professional and amateur athletes coming from countries around the world. I hope you are ready for the challenge, and I have no doubt that you will rise to the occasion when the race begins. The XTERRA Crew and our dedicated volunteers cannot wait  to make this day truly unforgettable.
