XTERRA Global, LLC, owners and producers of the XTERRA World Tour, announced Steve Andrus as the new manager for the XTERRA U.S. Tour, effective March 1, 2022.
Andrus previously served as the Director of Sales and Events at Snowbasin Resort in Utah, and brings more than 20 years of executive experience in event planning, budgeting, marketing, and operations to the position.
In his role at Snowbasin, Andrus hosted a wide variety of high-profile events including The Dew Tour, Tour of Utah, Utah Symphony, and XTERRA Championship event weekends.
“Steve has been part of the XTERRA family for more than a decade, first as our partner at Snowbasin and then as an ops specialist at other events, and we’re thrilled to have him lead the way for us now in the U.S.,” said J-D Cousens, XTERRA VP of Operations & Global Marketing. “He’s a proven leader, is universally loved by colleagues and clients alike, and has a great vision for XTERRA moving forward.”
Andrus will lead new business development, event strategies, partnerships, and community building.
