Live Total Body Workout Challenge
The XTERRA Connect Series invites the Tribe to stay strong together with a Facebook LIVE, interactive 30-minute total body strength and endurance workout challenge with three-time XTERRA U.S. Women’s Champion Suzie Snyder from her home in Reno, Nevada.
The challenge is simple, keep up with Suzie and complete all the reps. All you need is a chair and one or two bottles filled with water if you want some extra weight. The engaging session can be done by athletes of all ages and skill levels.
This interactive session is also a great way to learn the proper technique for many important body weight exercises like the single leg and Cossack squats, Copenhagen plank, hip extension, and bicycle crunch.
Here’s what viewers can expect:
Dynamic warmup - 5 minutes
Set 1 - 20s each *except for walkout
Set 2 - 30s each *except for walkout
- Single Leg Squat to plank walkout (+optional burpee) x 1 min each
- Cossack Squat x 30s
- Copenhagen Plank x 30s each side
- Hip Extension w/feet on chair (Single leg hip ext. optional) x 30s
- Bicycle Crunch x 30s
- Pushups x 30s
Cool down stretches:
- Kneeling lunge w/twist
Suzie Snyder has been the top American elite woman finisher at the XTERRA World Championship for four straight years, is a two-time XTERRA Pan Am Tour Champion, and has won nine majors on the XTERRA World Tour. Before turning pro, the 16-year veteran of XTERRA won the 20-24 division world title in 2004 and four-time age group national championships as well.
