Meet the Guest
Christopher Kelly is the CEO/Founder of Nourish Balance Thrive, an online-based company using advanced biochemical testing to prevent and reverse chronic disease, as well as optimize performance in athletes.Chris is a computer scientist and elite/professional mountain biker who re-trained in biochemistry, health coaching and advanced lab interpretation. He has been invited to speak on many podcasts about his bad experience solving his own chronic health complaints, resulting in him quitting his job to start NBT. Chris is rapidly becoming the go-to person for advice when it comes to applying in-depth testing and lifestyle changes in elite and masters athletes to keep them performing at a high level for as long as possible. Over 2,000 athletes have been through the NBT program, from weekend warriors to Olympians and world champions, with hundreds of performance biomarkers available for each client. As well as supporting athletic performance, the team has amassed significant experience with chronic diseases such as autoimmune conditions and cognitive decline. Based on their accumulated data, the team are using machine learning algorithms to rapidly and reliably predict common problems using basic blood chemistry. The goal is to both reduce the cost to the client and automate certain elements of the process, which will decrease the barrier to entry and allow a greater number of people to participate in their own preventative healthcare.
