Stories about relentless adventure and the people behind them.
XTERRA Global, LLC, owners and producers of the XTERRA World Tour, launches a new monthly XTERRA Podcast series powered by Braveheart Coaching on Wednesday, March 11, 2020.
Hosted by five-time off-road triathlon world champion Lesley Paterson and her husband Dr. Simon Marshall, the audio show explores the stories and science behind the quest to Live More.
“It’s an all guest format where we interview adventurers who do crazy stuff like run across the Sahara or sail around the world, as well as experts in the field of sports science and psychology to help us understand how they do it,” said Dr. Marshall, a renowned sport psychologist in his own right.
In the first episode, titled “How to get more Challenge and Discovery into your Life – lessons from a bona fide badass,” we meet Ray Zahab, a pack-a-day smoker who transformed himself into one of the planet’s most accomplished explorers. Listen in to discover how he learned to fully apply himself in the present moment and the successes that ensued.
Episodes will be available on xterraplanet.com and other major platforms such as Apple Podcast, Google Play/Podcast, Spotify, Stitcher, iHeartRadio, RadioPublic, and more.
“This is NOT a podcast about off-road triathlon or even triathlon,” explained Paterson. “We talk everything from training your body and mind for outdoor shenanigans, to gear, expeditions, travel and culture.”
Future XTERRA Podcasts will feature guests who live, work, and play off the beaten path, share first-person accounts of epic outdoor adventures, and provide valuable tips from industry leaders in the physical and mental health industries.
Stay tuned to the XTERRA website and social channels for future release dates.
