This year marks twelve years of off-road racing in Tapalpa, one of the hidden gems of Mexico, with its beautiful landscapes, bohemian nights and fabulous food. which make for a great post-race atmosphere to enjoy after crossing the finish line.

This year, XTERRA Mexico is introducing 5K and 10K trail runs to add to the adventure.

Tapalpa is located 118km from Guadalajara. By car is a 1 hour and 30 minutes drive and in public transportation can vary from two to four hours.

XTERRA Mexico Trail Run

Distances: 5km Run | 10km Run

XTERRA Mexico Full Distance

Distances: 1,500m Swim | 30km Bike | 10km Run
Ages: 18 to 64 years old.

Relay available for athlete over 16 years old.

XTERRA Sprint

Distances: 750m Swim | 15km Bike | 5km Run
Ages: 16 to over 55 years old.

XTERRA Kids

Ages: 6 to 8 years old.
Distances: 50m Swim | 2km Bike | 500m Run

Ages: 9 to 11 years old.
Distances: 150m Swim | 4km Bike | 1km Run

XTERRA Juvenile

Ages: 12 to 13 years old.
Distances: 300m Swim | 8km Bike | 1.5km Run

Ages: 14 to 15 years old.
Distances: 400m Swim | 10km Bike | 2.5km Run.

XTERRA Mexico Trail Run

Distances: 5km Run | 10km Run

Recovery - At finish with natural water Epura, Gatorade, Pepsi soft drinks, berries, oranges, bananas and bread.

FAQs

What are the prices of the races?

Trail Runs: Normal 5K $ 250. Normal 10K: MXN $ 350

Kids: Normal MXN $ 770. Late: MXN $ 870.
Juvenile: Normal MXN $ 980. Late: MXN $ 1,080.
Sprint: Normal MXN $ 1,700. Late: MXN $ 1,900.
Relay: Normal MXN $ 2,400. Late: MXN $ 2,900.

When will prices change?

Normal prices will be until June 2, from June 3 until the week of the competition and the late rates will apply.

What distances are there?

XTERRA Trail Runs 5km and 10km

XTERRA Kids: (Ages 6-11). From 6 to 8 years old. Swimming 50m, cycling 2km, running 500m.
From 9 to 11 years old. Swimming 150m, cycling 4km, running 1km.

XTERRA Juvenile: (Ages 12-15) From 12 to 13 years old. Swimming 300m, cycling 8km, running 1.5km.
From 14 to 15 years old. Swimming 400m, cycling 10km, running 2.5km.

XTERRA Sprint: From 16 to over 55 years old. Swimming 750m, cycling 15km, running 5km.

XTERRA Full Distance: From 18 to 64 years old. Swimming 1,500m, cycling 30km, running 10km.
Relay Over 16 years old. Swimming 1,500m, cycling 30km, running 10km.
