Pace Bend Park is located in western Travis County in the Hill Country of central Texas. The entire park is situated on a peninsula jutting into Lake Travis, with steep bluffs on one side offering spectacular views and gentle grassy slopes descending to the water on the other side. The trails at Pace Bend Park include limestone ledges, challenging rock gardens, some steep climbs, technical drop-offs with plenty of smooth trails in between to help you recover before reaching the next obstacle.

The race starts with an 800m swim in the waters of Lake Travis followed by 14 miles of challenging classic Texas Hill Country single track with short climbs, limestone drops, and twisty turns. Finish with a fast 6K run weaving along the shore of the lake.

Bike: 2 aid stations per lap
Run: 1 aid station
Aid stations will have snacks, water, and Gatorade.

Course Distance: 6K trail run x 14-mile mountain bike x 6K trail run
The race starts with a fast 6K run weaving along the shore of Lake Travis followed by 14 miles of challenging classic Texas Hill Country single track with short climbs, limestone drops and twisty turns. Finish with a second lap on the 6K loop.
AID STATIONS:
Transition area: 1 aid station
Bike: 2 aid stations per lap
Run: 1 aid station
Aid stations will have snacks, water and Gatorade.

Information on camping is available at https://parks.traviscountytx.gov/parks/pace-bend. Hotels are available in Bee Cave, Marble Falls, and Austin.

The event will be held rain or shine, no refunds. Registration insurance is available through Active.com.
Entries include:
- Race day park entrance fee for participant.
- A well-marked course with aid stations that include water, Gatorade and snacks.
- Chipped timed event.
- Race shirt guaranteed in requested size for participants that register by 6/1. For registrations after 6/1, limited shirts will be available while supplies last.
- For participants 21 years and older, post-race beer provided by NXNW Brewing, Austin.
- XTERRA swim cap (triathlon only). You are welcome to bring your own but it must be yellow.
- Finisher awards (trail runs only).
