About the Podcast
With the same passion, curiosity, and initiative that spawned the XTERRA off-road triathlon series over two decades ago, we are now bringing you a podcast that gets to the core of what it means to follow our long-standing motto of “Live More.”
Like the sport itself, we have an approach that is a bit offbeat, a bit unconventional, and a bit off-road. Each episode focuses on a topic or specific question and dives into it full force. Rather than a single interview with only one guest, we search the globe for folks of all walks of life and use their expertise to help sculpt an intriguing, entertaining, and informative story that will hopefully inspire you to Live More.
With host Will Kelsay, a seasoned XTERRA Veteran, and co-host 5x World Champion Lesley Paterson, you can expect loads of laughter and knowledgeable insights from two personalities who have chosen to make this sport their livelihood.

Meet Will Kelsay
Will Kelsay is a seasoned veteran on the XTERRA circuit having raced in more than 20 countries around the world over 17 years. He is most well known for making over the top, international adventures his M.O. Living the van life twice, making a couple laps around the entire earth, running across the Grand Canyon and back, and other countless (and some quite questionable) adventures only scratch the surface. His passion for travel and the unknown is only overshadowed by the size of his smile and rambunctious laughter. But don’t think he doesn’t take the sport seriously. Having raced professionally since 2005, he has accumulated more than 50 overall wins and 75 more top five finishes. Over the years, he has been a coach, race announcer, race director, personal trainer, physiology lab technician, videographer, magazine editor and writer, and countless other professions to supplement his racing career. His high energy personality, passion for the sport, and the skills and expertise gathered from racing, travel, and various careers make hosting the Live More podcast the perfect fit.
Meet Lesley Paterson
Lesley Paterson is a five-time world champion triathlete, professional mountain biker, coach, motivational speaker, reluctant fitness model, and foul-mouthed Scotts lassie. Growing up in Scotland, Lesley was the only girl who played rugby on an all-boys team. When boobs appeared she was banned from playing with the boys so she started competing in running and triathlon. Lesley went on to become a national champion in cross country and an international triathlete. With her sport psychologist husband, Dr. Simon Marshall, Lesley owns Braveheart Coaching (www.braveheartcoach.com) – a San Diego based company that trains endurance athletes to be faster and happier. Lesley’s athletic journey is one of passion, grit, toughness, and an unwavering ‘Braveheart’ spirit in overcoming obstacles. Lesley uses her on-camera training, media-ready personality, and Scottish accent to create meaningful as well as entirely useless content for endurance athletes. With her husband, she's co-author of the best-selling book, The Brave Athlete - Calm the F*ck Down and Rise to the Occasion (VeloPress, 2017)
