XTERRA Guntersville and Wildhorse, Nov. 3rd and 4th
On November 3rd and 4th, XTERRA will head to Alabama and Florida to soak up the southern sun during the last full month of autumn.
The XTERRA Guntersville 8/15K on November 3rd will take you along the banks of Alabama’s largest lake in Lake Guntersville State Park. Located along the banks of the Tennessee River in Northeast Alabama, the 15K and 8K courses provide beautiful views as well as an adventure through autumn foliage. If you are lucky, you might catch a view of a bald eagle. The Lake Guntersville State Park is a focal point of Eagle Awareness thanks to conservation efforts that have boosted Alabama’s nesting bald eagle populations.
XTERRA Guntersville is the third trail run in the six-run XTERRA Alabama Trail Run Series. Next up in the series is the XTERRA DeSoto Trail Run on December 8th.
On the following day, the XTERRA Wildhorse Trail Runs in Sydney, Florida include 4K, 10K, 10-mile, half-marathon distances, making this a perfect adventure for the entire family. Entry into the race also includes a post-race pancake breakfast. XTERRA Wildhorse is the third race in the XTERRA Florida Trail Run Series, which included XTERRA Trout Creek in Tampa and the XTERRA Claw Run in Lithia.
