The third annual XTERRA Poland off-road triathlon, the 12th of 16 events on the 2018 XTERRA European Tour, takes places this Sunday in Krakow.  It’s the second of six-straight weekend of races which continues next weekend at the XTERRA European Championship in Germany and culminates September 9 in Mons Klint, Denmark.

In the men’s elite race XTERRA World Champ Bradley Weiss from South Africa will reignite his friendly rivalry with Kiwi Sam Osborne and a strong contingent of Euro Tour regulars. Arthur Serrieres from France comes in fresh off his win at XTERRA Romania last week, and super swimmers Ben Allen and Max Chane will certainly be pushing the pace early.

In the women’s race five of the top six ranked elites will be on the start line, including current No. 1 Carina Wasle.  She’ll have her hands full with last year’s Poland winner Brigitta Poor, who is also fresh off a win in Romania and having a stellar season. Helena Karasková, Morgane Riou, Samantha Kingsford, and Ania Tomica are also on the start line.
