Nathan Korteum and Kristen Wade captured the titles at XTERRA Dino Southern Indiana in Versailles on Sunday, August 5th.

The race included a 1K swim in Versailles Lake with a 13-mile mountain bike ride on the Cliffside trail, and a 5-mile run on the park’s hiking trails.

In the men's race Kortuem took the tape in 2:00:48, Ralph Nurse was second in 2:08:44, and Brad Scholtz was third in 2:10:13.

This was Korteum’s first XTERRA of the year but Nurse has been racing since XTERRA Fort Custer last September. At that race he was sixth in his age group but in 2018 he's been perfect, winning his age group at XTERRA Illinois Wilds, XTERRA Dino North, and XTERRA Ionia.

In the women’s race, Kristen Wade continued her winning streak and won the overall race for the women in 2:23:22. Janet Edwards was second in 2:29:40 and Christina Halioris was third in 2:31:54.

So far this year, Wade was second in her age group at XTERRA Oak Mountain, and she won her age group at XTERRA Dino North, XTERRA Illinois Wilds, and XTERRA Fort Custer.
