As the festive days of July transform into the lazy days of August, XTERRA makes its final stops on the sultry southern trails of Georgia and Texas. The XTERRA Allatoona Creek 5/15K Trail Run on August 11th and the XTERRA Muleshoe 6/10/21K on August 12th mark the final races in the XTERRA Georgia and XTERRA Texas Trail Series.
Just outside Atlanta, the XTERRA Georgia Allatoona Creek Park Trail Runs are an opportunity to test your wheels on rustic, shaded trails with the crew from Dirty Spokes, which always makes trail running feel like the best and healthiest party you’ve ever attended.
The following day, on August 12th, the popular XTERRA Texas Trail Run Series concludes with the XTERRA Muleshoe 6/10/21K. Muleshoe Bend Recreation Area is located just outside of Spicewood, TX on the north shore of beautiful Lake Travis. The cedar-lined trail system includes limestone outcroppings and ledges, hairpin turns, gravel washes, compressed dirt, and rock paths. This is a fast course with some technical areas including a couple of off-camber vertical stair steps along the trail just for fun.
