If you're into XTERRA - or want to be - 'tis the season. There are big races happening on every continent except Antarctica this month.

The fun begins Saturday on the beach in New South Wales where two dozen of the world’s best off-roadies have gathered for the XTERRA Asia-Pacific Championship. The race offers up 50,000 AUD in prize money, the second-largest payout in dirt-themed triathlon trailing only XTERRA Worlds, and is filmed for an internationally distributed TV show.

Next weekend two new world tour stops are unleashed in Tahiti and Reunion Island while the XTERRA U.S. Pro Series gets underway in the desert surrounding Lake Las Vegas.

The XTERRA Asian Tour wraps up in Langkawi, Malaysia on May 2, South America celebrates the XTERRA Brazil Championship in Ilhabela on May 10, and the second of 12 majors on the XTERRA European Tour takes place in the small town of Golega, Portugal on May 16.

All the while the America Tour crosses the nation with races from Los Angeles, California to Barnegat, New Jersey … highlighted by the USA Triathlon Off-Road National Championship / XTERRA Southeast Championship at Oak Mountain State Park in Pelham, Alabama.

The top amateurs from each of the majors will qualify for the 20th XTERRA World Championship race on November 1, 2015 in Maui, which is sure to be an international gathering of XTERRA stars like no other.
