Sophomore Salute to Auburn's XTERRA Tiger

Returning for its sophomore year, Auburn, Alabama will be hosting XTERRA Tiger on April 4th.

The event will take place at the scenic and relaxing Chewacla State Park. Participants will begin with a ½ mile swim in the 26-acre Lake Chewacla. They will then transition into the 10-mile bike ride on the 696 acre lot and finish with a 3.1 mile run.

James Wueste and Brook Pace were the winners of the inaugural XTERRA Tiger for the male and female division, respectively.

XTERRA Tiger is the second race in the Southeast region and the first of the three triathlons in Alabama. May 16, is the Southeast Championship in Pelham, Alabama and on August 29, XTERRA Tide in Coker, Alabama, will conclude the Southeast Region races for the 2015 schedule.
