BROWN'S ISLAND, RICHMOND, VIRGINIA | JUNE 19, 2010

XTERRA Richmond Trail RunsRichmond, Virginia is renowned for its urban trail system, which has been part of XTERRA multisport and trail run racing since 1999. On June 19, 2010, XTERRA returns to Richmond for its twelveth consecutive year.  The XTERRA Richmond Trail Runs offer runners an opportunity to experience these legendary trails at one of two distances – 10km or the half marathon Xduro.  The race course is the most unique in all of XTERRA with both man-made and natural obstacles from the Manchester staircase climb (known as the “Mayan Ruins”) to rock hopping the “dryway” over the James River.

Big thanks our local presenting sponsor Salary Shield and to our local supporting sponsors Crowne Plaza, Road Runner Running Store and Richmond Road Runners.

Entry Fees:

21km Xduro - $40
10km Fugitive Trail Run - $35

ARE YOU READY FOR A CHALLENGE?

Foodbank

The people behind the SalaryShield® Challenge and the XTERRA East Championship are challenging you to help us feed the Richmond area’s hungry. Our goal is to collect 2,010 pounds of food for the Central Virginia Food Bank. The SalaryShield® team will match every pound of food or each charitable dollar we collect, up to 2,010 pounds. That’s 4,020 meals that we as a team could provide to people in need this summer. So please bring non-perishable food items (no glass please) or cash contributions to the SalaryShield® pavilion at the XTERRA East Champion June 19 and 20 and help make a difference in the local community. For a list of the most-needed food items, click here.
