Friends and family can experience the famous world championship XTERRA run course on Saturday October 23.
Experience Maui like you've never experienced it before. From the hills of Haleakala to the black sand beaches. This is a race you'll never forget.
A benefit for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Maui County.
Rates: $25 (5km) - $30 (10km) fee includes event T-shirt and post-race refreshments. On-site registration is also available. Student and military rates available with valid ID.
Packet Pick-up: 6:30 AM - 7:30 AM at the race start.
Course: An off-road thriller that takes competitors on the famed XTERRA World Championship run course. The trails will wind through "spooky" forests, cactus, and stunning oceanfront scenery. (Course is subject to change)
Divisions:(9 and under) (10-14) (15-19) (20-24) (25-29) (30-34) (35-39) (40-44) (45-49) (50-54) (55-59) (60-64) (65-69) (70-74) (75-79) (80+).
Awards: Top three in each division are awarded medals. Awards ceremony follows the race.
Hawaiian Airlines Trail Run Prime Awards: The Hawaiian Airlines Trail Run Prime awards one round-trip ticket from any West Coast Hawaiian Airlines gateway to Honolulu for the 1st place amateur man and woman in the 10K XTERRA Makena Beach Trail Run (restrictions may apply).
Directions: From Dairy Road heading out of Kahului towards Kihei/Wailea, turn left onto Mokulele Highway at the stop light by the Assembly of God church. Take a left at the stoplight at Piilani Highway (towards Wailea). At the end of the road, turn right on Wailea Ike. Turn left at the next stoplight on to Wailea Alanui. The Makena Beach & Golf Resort is approximately three miles down the road.
