Just 17 miles from the bustle and bright lights of the Las Vegas Strip, XTERRA is bringing off-road adventure to Lake Las Vegas, NV on April 15. Just a day after the XTERRA West Championship off-road triathlon, XTERRA will also be hosting a trio of runs throughout the fun and challenging terrain outside Lake Las Vegas. Whether you tackle the grueling 21km event or choose the shorter 10km fun run or 5km, there is a race for everyone, so don't miss your chance to join in the fun.
The top three competitors in each age group will win awards, and the top male and female finisher in the 21k will earn a free roundtrip flight to Hawaii from the mainland on Hawaiian Airlines. COURSE DESCRIPTION
This terrain is challenging but fun. The climbs are long and steep, the descent's are fast and rocky. It is extremely hardpacked but rocky. There is no significant, loose, deep or prolonged sand on this course. The shorter distance 5/10km trail runs will have a mixture of graded trail and paved paths through the surrounding Lake Las Vegas area making these runs fun for the entire family.

* From I-15 North, exit to the 215 East
* Continue on the 215 until it ends; it will become Lake Mead Parkway
* Continue on Lake Mead approximately 7 miles

FROM McCARRAN AIRPORT
* Take I-215 East to Henderson
* Continue on the 215 until it ends; it will become Lake Mead Parkway
* Travel past Boulder Highway, approximately 7 miles

* Take Las Vegas Boulevard to Tropicana Avenue
* Go East on Tropicana Avenue to US 95 South
* Continue on US 95 South and take Lake Mead Parkway Exit

EVENT PARKING
Park your vehicle at the Montelago Village public parking multi-level structure.
Packet Pickup and registration is in the Village's main square.
To get to transition: walk your bike across the bridge and take a left at the end of the bridge.
Signs will guide your way to all locations.
