New to 2010 is the XTERRA Alabama Trail Run Series. Race director Tim Schroer has already proven his skills with the increasingly popular XTERRA Georgia Trail Run Series, and now he is bringing the adventure to the state of Alabama. Race venues include Cheaha State Park, Monte Sano State Park and Oak Mountain State Park and all promise challenging, off-road adventures for runners at any level. The top runners in each age group will be awarded points toward their 2010 XTERRA Alabama Series totals, and those ending the season with the most points will be crowned XTERRA Regional Champion and be awarded free entry to the XTERRA Trail Run National Championship on September 18. You must complete more than one event to be eligible, so sign up for the next event today!
