XTERRA Wheeler Canyon Xduro - 21km Trail Run
ONLINE REGISTRATION HAS CLOSED BUT IT IS NOT TOO LATE TO SIGN UP
Stop by the XTERRA Expo at Ogden's Amphitheater Park (corner 25th and Grant) on Friday the 25th between noon and 6pm for on-site registration and packet pickup.
Sorry there will be no race day registration.

For runners craving a challenge, this half-marathon distance trail run will still feature the infamous 2,300 foot climb from Pineview Reservoir to Snowbasin Resort. This grueling “Xduro” endurance trail run promises runners a spectacular view of Wheeler Canyon and well-deserved bragging rights at the finish. Finishing the race in less than 3 hours automatically qualifies you for the XTERRA Trail Running World Championship December 6 on the beautiful Hawaiian island of Oahu. Although qualification is not mandatory, those earning qualifying slots into the XTERRA Trail Run World Championship will be given special recognition on race day.
SINCE THERE WILL BE LIMITED PARKING AT PINEVIEW RESERVOIR, WE RECOMMEND YOU PARK YOUR CAR AT THE SNOWBASIN FINISH AND TAKE THE FREE SHUTTLE TO THE PINEVIEW RACE START.
We will provide you a bag with your race number on it that you can put possessions in that you do not need on the course. Your bags will be available at the finish.

XTERRA WHEELER CANYON 21KM COURSE

Get ready for climbing! If you can take your eyes off the trail ahead (and take your mind off the burning in your legs), you'll be treated to a scenic horizon dominated by towering aspens. Take a deep breath and take it all in. You'll need it for the next section of the run. Halfway through the run is the highest point on the entire course at about 7,500 feet. We'll bring you back down to the race compound and through to the finish at Snowbasin.
RACE DAY INSTRUCTIONS
Parking will be at Snowbasin Resort where you will ride a shuttle to Pineview Reservoir. Limited parking is available at Pineview Reservoir.

PLEASE ALLOW PLENTY OF TIME GET TO THE RACE START.
Race start is at Pineview Reservoir.
Race finish is at Snowbasin.
THERE IS LIMITED PARKING AT PINEVIEW AND INTERMITTENT ROAD CLOSURES AT THE PINEVIEW SPILLWAY as XTERRA bikers cross the road into Wheeler Canyon.
TO AVOID DELAYS OR MISSING YOUR START, WE RECOMMEND YOU PARK YOUR CAR AT THE SNOWBASIN FINISH AND TAKE THE FREE SHUTTLE TO THE PINEVIEW RACE START.
The first shuttle leaves Snowbasin at 6 am.
Race starts at 7:30am, so last shuttle will leave at 6:45am.
We will provide you a bag with your race number on it that you can put possessions in that you do not need on course.
We will bring your bag to the Xduro area of the triathlon transition at Snowbasin.
ROAD CLOSURES AT PINEVIEW SPILLWAY
There will be intermittent road closures at Pineview spillway from 9am-11am.
To avoid long delays, Pineview-Snowbasin traffic during these hours should take the alternate route through Huntsville (166 to 158).
