These free XTERRA University clinics, held at each of the XTERRA Championship venues, are a must-do for beginner and novice athletes looking to improve their performance. XTERRA Pro Cody Waite from EPC (Endurance Performance Coaching) will be an official training partner of XTERRA, providing tips, plans, and programs to the Tribe on a bi-monthly basis via the Tribe News newsletter (sign-up) and the training section right here.  While the tips and tricks Cody dishes out here will be free, more in-depth training plans will also be available for a fee at www.epcmultisport.com.  Learn more.

Josiah Middaugh Hosts the Ultimate High-Altitude Training Camp

Seven-time XTERRA National Champ Josiah Middaugh has gathered all the right ingredients to create the ultimate training camp high atop Arrowhead Mountain, just west of the XTERRA Mountain Championship race site in Beaver Creek, Colorado.

This June 18-24, in conjunction with Dogma Athletica and The Cycling House , a select few will have the opportunity to learn from the master, alongside three other USA certified tri and cycling coaches.

The camp, spanning six nights and seven days, offers guided support for activities; healthy and nutritious meals; rides on the Vail Valley’s epic singletrack; training on the Beaver Creek XTERRA course; all while staying in an outstanding home located at 8,200 ft near the top of Arrowhead Mountain.

In addition, participants will receive VO2 Max testing; body composition analysis, and access to coaching and training programs designed for success in the rest of their seasons.

Clinics & Seminars

Local health clubs, fitness centers and community parks across the nation host single- and multi-day instruction sessions aimed at improving your racing skills. The sessions cover a wide range of topics, from keeping it fun to wrenching your bike. XTERRA Ambassadors, race organizers and other experts host the meetings. Ride the Course

Our runs / swims / rides section lets athletes invite others to get out and pre-ride XTERRA's famed courses before the race. It's your chance to size up the course - and the competition - at these informal get-togethers.
