XTERRA Richmond Trail Runs – 10/21km
BROWN’S ISLAND, RICHMOND, VIRGINIA | JUNE 13, 2015 – 8AM
There aren’t too many trail runs that can be described as “an urban adventure,” but that is just what the XTERRA Richmond Trail Run offers. The course takes runners through many challenges in and around the city of Richmond, including crossings of the James River and several climbs up and down stairs, bridges and forest hills.
All age-group winners for the 21K course will receive a free entry to the XTERRA Trail Run World Championship in Hawaii in December. There is also a 10K course that is nicknamed “The Fugitive 10K” because of its similarity to some of the chase scenes in the movie “The Fugitive,” including river crossings, rock jumpings, and a section that passes train tracks.
Event t-shirts are guaranteed for all athletes registering by May 31. Walk-ups and registrations after June 1 are not guaranteed a t-shirt. You must be present to receive awards.
Schedule will be posted when it becomes available.
Awards will be given to the top three in each age-group division. You must be present to receive your awards. Awards will not be mailed after the event.
Join us for an exciting morning of XTERRA racing at XTERRA Richmond. We are looking for people who have a few hours to spare to help with the event. Volunteer Check-In will be at the XTERRA Expo. All volunteers will receive an XTERRA crew support t-shirt, drinks, and lunch.
If interested please email or call the XTERRA Volunteer Coordinator at email@example.com or 808-521-4322. Hope to see you there!
