Paul Mitchell XTERRA Trail Run Series
Where Mother Nature is Your Toughest Competitor
The Paul Mitchell XTERRA Trail Run Series features runs across the country, Puerto Rico and Hawaii ranging from 5 kilometers to 50 kilometers.
Each regional series has anywhere from three to seven races that runners can compete in to accumulate points towards their series championship totals. Age-group results will be tabulated after each race, and the cumulative results at the end of the season will determine the final series points.
Series champions are awarded free entry into the Paul Mitchell XTERRA Trail Run National Championship – an off-road half-marathon to be held in Snowbasin, Ogden, Utah, in September.
There are also several independent XTERRA Trail Run races in the U.S. for runners who are in a region that does not have a full series. View our schedule for a race near you.
XTERRA Trail Runs have also gone global with off-road races in such exotic locations as Australia, Costa Rica, New Zealand, Malaysia, Japan, Luxembourg, Greece, Spain, Ireland, Canada, Sweden, Denmark, Italy, France, Brazil, Philippines, Czech Republic and Switzerland. At the end of the year, runners from all over the world will unite on the beautiful and majestic island of Oahu for the ultimate trail run – the Paul Mitchell XTERRA Trail Run World Championship in December.
