Don Morrison has organized some of the best events in the 2008 XTERRA Trail Run Series, but now it’s his turn to stand on the starting line. A four year veteran of the XTERRA off-road triathlon circuit, he was a 2007 XTERRA Age Group National Champion. He was also crowned the Mid-Atlantic Champion in his age group in 2005, 2006 and 2007. He has competed in 4 XTERRA Off-road Triathlon Point Series races in 2008 and has his sights set on the XTERRA USA and World Championships to round out his season.

CALLING ALL CANINES

The Breeder’s Choice XTERRA K9 Challenge is making its Oregon debut at the XTERRA Trail Running National Championship on September 27 in Bend. This unique event encourages people and their dogs to be active, interact with one another, and have fun. Dogs and their owners will race through a timed obstacle course for the chance to win a free year’s supply of AvoDerm Dog Food. Everyone is welcome to participate as the course is not limited to highly trained or breed-specific dogs.
