XTERRA may soon be coming to your area with the announcement of several new trail run series around the country. With the additions of the XTERRA Virginia and South Carolina Series, and the return of the NorCal Series, XTERRA is thrilled about its latest adventures. Along with the new series, the schedule will also feature trail runs in Colorado, New York, Utah, Hawaii, and Texas.
One of these races, the XTERRA Marathon of Trail Races taking place in Colorado Springs, CO, leads XTERRA into uncharted territory by putting on the series’ first marathon-distance event on October 3.
In New York, race stops include the XTERRA Onteora Trail Run on the edge of the Catskill Mountains and the XTERRA Lake Placid Trail Run racing on the same world-class terrain that hosted the Winter Olympics almost 30 years ago.
Not to worry, XTERRA has brought back all your favorite races in the XTERRA SoCal, Georgia, Tennessee, New England and Philly Series to round out the 2009 season.
