XTERRA – A World-Wide Adventure

The XTERRA World Tour gives athletes around the world a chance to race in off-road triathlons and trail runs in some of the most diverse, spectacular, and challenging natural environments on the planet – from tropical jungles to snow-covered alps.  Pro athletes compete for pro prize monies, while amateurs race for national titles and coveted slots to the World Championship in Maui, Hawaii.

XTERRA Pan American Tour

The inaugural 10-stop series for both amateur and professional athletes starts March 20th at XTERRA Costa Rica and concludes September 17 with the XTERRA Pan American Championship race in Ogden, Utah.  In between are two majors in the U.S., two in Canada, and one each in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic. Pros race for pro prize monies while amateurs compete for XTERRA Pan American Champion titles and XTERRA World Championship qualification slots.

XTERRA European Tour

Race across the continent en route to an XTERRA European Tour Championship title. XTERRA invites age group and pro athletes to join the quest for off-road supremacy. Pro athletes compete for more than US $458,000 in pro prize monies, while amateurs race for national titles and coveted slots to the World Championship.

XTERRA Asia-Pacific Tour

XTERRA Japan, held August 29 at a new venue in Hokkaido, was the kick-off of the 2nd annual XTERRA Asian Tour Championship Series.  This year’s Tour crowns series champions at the season finale in Langkawi, Malaysia in May, 2016.

The top 15 amateur, Asian-elite, and professional racers at each event will earn series points, with double points being offered at the finale in Malaysia.  Racers will count their best three scores to determine champions in each division.

The XTERRA Asia-Pacific Tour will award a prize bonus of $10,000 USD to the top five pro men and women in the final standings ($2,000 for 1st, $1,500-2nd, $800-3rd, $400-4th, $300-5th).
