XTERRA Wheeler Canyon Xduro - 21K

The XTERRA Wheeler Canyon Xduro is the final of four races allowing runners to earn points toward their XTERRA Utah Trail Run Series total. Full of climbing hills and dirt-covered trails, the new half-marathon distance Xduro will face athletes with the ultimate test of stamina and strength.

Participants with the highest totals at the conclusion of the series will earn free entry to the XTERRA National Trail Running Championship on September 27 in Bend, OR. From there athletes can go on to compete in the XTERRA Trail Running World Championship on December 7 in Hawaii.

Date: Saturday, August 16 at 10am

Venue: Pineview Reservoir , Ogden, Utah

Registration: $35 fee includes event T-shirt and post race refreshments.

Online registration closed but it's not too late to register. On site registration is still available Friday, August 15 noon to 8pm at Amphitheater Park.

This endurance event will be on the same bike course that our XTERRA triathlon athletes will be competing on.

Parking will be at Snowbasin Resort where you will ride a shuttle to Pineview. Limited parking is available at Pineview.

Race Day Instructions

PLEASE ALLOW PLENTY OF TIME GET TO THE RACE START.
Race start is at Pineview Reservoir.
Race finish is at Snowbasin.

THERE IS LIMITED PARKING AT PINEVIEW AND INTERMITTENT ROAD CLOSURES AT THE PINEVIEW SPILLWAY as XTERRA bikers cross the road into Wheeler Canyon.

TO AVOID DELAYS OR MISSING YOUR START, WE RECOMMEND YOU PARK YOUR CAR AT THE SNOWBASIN FINISH AND TAKE THE FREE SHUTTLE TO THE PINEVIEW RACE START.

The first shuttle leaves Snowbasin at 7am.
The last shuttle for Xduro athletes departs Snowbasin at 9:30am.

We will provide you a bag with your race number on it that you can put possessions in that you do not need on course.
We will bring your bag to the Xduro area of the triathlon transition at Snowbasin.

ROAD CLOSURES AT PINEVIEW SPILLWAY
There will be intermittent road closures at Pineview spillway from 9am-11am.
To avoid long delays, Pineview-Snowbasin traffic during these hours should take the alternate route through Huntsville (166 to 158).
