The scenic trails of one of the newest parks in the Triangle will play host to an event making its debut on the area’s running calendar early in 2006.

The inaugural Little River Trail Run will give runners of all abilities the chance to test themselves on the picturesque trails of the Triangle area's newest park. The five-kilometer loop is suitable for recreational runners who may not normally venture off-road, as well as novice competitors with a few road races under their belts looking to try something a little different.

There is also a nine-mile option for those seeking a longer challenge, or for more seasoned runners keen to gauge their progress as they train for other events on the trail running calendar.

Little River Regional Park contains ideal terrain for novices and experienced athletes alike. This lovely park should be enjoyed every season, including winter!
