The XTERRA America Tour returns to Southern California at XTERRA Snow Valley.

Located in the beautiful San Bernardino Mountains half-way between Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear, Snow Valley is the perfect summer XTERRA venue and we are the only points series race in Southern California for all of 2010.

The race begins with a 1,000 yard swim in Snow Valley's private lake.  Despite the 7200' altitude, the water is expected to be in the 70 degree range. Wetsuits are allowed but not required. The 10 mile mountain bike course is non-technical, on fire roads and double track offering spectacular views, fast downhills and some good climbs. The 4 mile run is a hilly combination of trails and cross country scramble that criss-crosses the finish area giving spectators a great view of the action. The course is challenging for sure, but the emphasis is on fun and adventure. For you non-swimmers there is also a Duathlon option (Run/Bike/Run). XTERRA Snow Valley has played host to pros and world champions like Conrad Stoltz and Shonny Vanlandingham who have raced alongside age group athletes and legends such as Kenny Souza. The great vibe at Snow Valley means even the best triathletes in the world can relax and hang out post race. A free BBQ lunch and unique custom awards doesn't hurt either.
