Best XTERRA finish: 1st place, USA Championship 2008.

Best discipline (swim, bike, or run): My recipe for success is to have only a decent swim but with the best bike and run combo.

2009 race results (all races): 1st place XTERRA Malaysia, 2nd place XTERRA Saipan, 2nd place XTERRA Brazil, 2nd place Mtn Championship, 2nd place MidWest Champs, 3rd place SouthEast Champs, 4th place USA Champs, 4th place West Champs, 4th place East Champs, 4th place South Central Champs, 12th place World's, 1st place Portland, and 1st place Black Diamond.

Top 3 all-time racing accomplishments: Besides USA Champs win in 2008, 2000 XTERRA Canada - Whistler BC - first Pro Tour win... with friends and family in attendance. 2005 XTERRA Mountain Championship - Keystone CO - Won by 4 minutes and bettered my course record on possibly the toughest, most rugged mtb course of all time. Best recent XTERRA World's ( field is tougher every year ) was 2008 where I placed 4th, despite struggling with muscle cramps and dehydration on the run.

University attended: University of Victoria, Economics

Did you play sports in college: Intramural hockey.

If you have a regular job outside of racing, what do you do: I do some swim coaching and vehicle repair.

Interests outside of athletics: Trail riding on the moto, I like repairing broken things, and preparing for the impending apocalypse.

Tell us something we should know about you: I'm turning 37 soon, have been racing tri and mtb since age 14... and I'm healthier and fitter than ever... I'm still in my prime!

Open forum: Will be racing and traveling slightly less this year but still shooting for peak form at World's.
