XTERRA Magnolia Hill Trail Run Set for July 8

Open to runners of all ages and skill levels

July 5, 2012 - Want to burn some of those Fourth of July barbecue calories? The XTERRA Magnolia Hill Trail Run is scheduled for Sunday, July 8, at Navasota, Texas.

The event is open to runners of all ages and skill levels, and there are two course options - a 16-kilometer long course and a 6K course.

Temperatures in the area have been in the 90s this week, but rain is predicted for the weekend. Rain or shine, the XTERRA Magnolia Hill Trail Run offers a rare opportunity for runners to experience the picturesque trails at Magnolia Hill Ranch. The ranch is normally closed to the public and only a few races per year are held there.

All runners will also be invited to stay for the post-race awards presentation, which will include food and beverages.

The race will be the fourth of five races in the 2012 XTERRA Texas Trail Run Series, so runners can earn valuable points toward the overall series standings.
