XTERRA Celebrates National Running Day at Warwick Park

After the success of this past Wednesday’s XTERRA Philly Trail Run at Warwick Park, runners wanted another chance to take on the technical Pottstown terrain, and what better day to do it than on National Running Day. On Wednesday, June 2, join XTERRA as it takes part of this celebration of “coming together as a nation to take strides toward leading healthier, fitter lives.”

The XTERRA Warwick Park Ruckus boasts five kilometers of unforgiving dirt trails, roots, rocks and plenty of hills. It’s the third of five races in the 2010 XTERRA Philly Trail Run Series, however, the event is open to all...even those looking for their first test of the trails. Runners will be handsomely rewarded at the finish line with a post-race pizza party, large prize raffle and awards given to the top runners in each age group.

As part of XTERRA Trail Run Series, points will be awarded to the fastest fifteen runners in each age group, and those with the highest scores after the final race will be crowned XTERRA Philly Regional Champions and win free entry into the XTERRA Trail Running National Championship on September 18 in the beautiful trail running town of Bend, Oregon.
