University attended: Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and Kinesiology from University of Northern Colorado in 2001. Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from University of Colorado in 2003. Doctor of Physical Therapy from University of Colorado in 2009.

Did you play sports in college: Cross Country two seasons and Track one season at UNC, Shotokan Karate (club sport) at UNC. I was third in both Brown Belt Kata and Kumite at the 2000 Collegiate Championships, hosted by the ISKF.

If you have a regular job outside of racing, what do you do: I am a Physical Therapist, specializing in Geriatric Sub-acute rehabilitation.

Interests outside of athletics: Working on a book, torturing our two cats and cooking. I'm always eager to try new recipes out on my husband.

Tell us something we should know about you: Triathlon is a lifestyle and I'm happy that it's such an important part of my husband's and mine!

Open forum: I support Challenged Athletes Foundation thru fundraising at my races and events. I'm proud to help encourage physically disabled athletes to get out and live more!

XTERRA Racing History:

2009: Placed 13th at the XTERRA West Cup, 7th at the Northwest Cup, 10th at the Mountain Cup, and 12th at the XTERRA USA Championship.
