XTERRA Coming to Camp Hilbert for Next Trail Run in Virginia Series

On May 9, XTERRA makes its second stop on the Virginia Trail Run Series tour at Camp Hilbert in Oilville, Virginia. The XTERRA Cinco in Mayo Trail Run features 8 kilometers of single-track adventure through the beautiful wooded camp. Runners of all abilities can navigate through the twisting forest inside this 110-acre rustic camp setting.

The XTERRA Cinco in Mayo Trail Run is the 2nd race in the new 2009 XTERRA Virginia Trail Run Series. Top runners in each age group will earn points toward their series totals, and those with the highest scores at the end of the season will be crowned XTERRA Regional Champions and receive free entry to the XTERRA Trail Running National Championship on September 13 in Bend, Oregon. From there runners will have the opportunity to race at the December 6th XTERRA Trail Running World Championship on the spectacular Hawaiian island of Oahu.

This is also a reminder that the XTERRA Virginia Trail Run Series’ first race is coming up this weekend at Ashland’s Poor Farm Park. Runners who pre-register for the XTERRA Trail Tromp Trail Race on April 19 are eligible to take advantage of the $5 “bail-out” discount for the XTERRA Cinco in Mayo Trail Run.
