XTERRA Explodes into New Hampshire with the Muddy Moose Xduro

RACE #2 IN THE 2008 XTERRA NEW ENGLAND TRAIL RUN SERIES

XTERRA Muddy Moose XduroXTERRA is once again bringing New England a gritty, in-your-face taste of trail running, this time to Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.  On April 20, the XTERRA Muddy Moose Xduro is storming to the spotlight for athletes to challenge Mother Nature in this latest battle of endurance.

In its 9th year, the Muddy Moose Trail Run is teaming up with XTERRA to give runners the ultimate, mud-slinging, log-tripping race around. Whether they choose the 14-mile Xduro adventure full of short, steep hills, water obstacles and untangling roots or the 4-mile race with its slightly more forgiving course, all participants will be sure to come face to face with mounds of mud. Monotony will be a distant memory as athletes scramble over a variety of terrain including looming woods, dirt roads, single track and even snowmobile trails.

Having been named part of the "Best of New Hampshire" by New Hampshire Magazine, the Muddy Moose Trail Races have certainly earned their reputation. With its duel-path course and ambitious obstacles, athletes will certainly have their work cut out for them.

This is the second of three races determining who will be this year's XTERRA New England Trail Run Series Champion winning free entry into the XTERRA National Trail Running Championship on September 27 in Bend, OR. From there, athletes will have the chance to participate in the XTERRA Trail Running World Championship on December 7 at the spectacular Kualoa Ranch in Hawaii.
