2006 XTERRA Parks & People 5K ScrambleXTERRA revisits Baltimore on Sunday, October 29th for the final trail-running race of the 2006 Scramble Series. The XTERRA Parks & People Scramble takes competitors on an exciting journey through Druid Hill Park during one of the most gorgeous seasons of the year. This fun 5K-course is a true gem -- amidst shady lawns and a majestic forest, it features a mix of off-road trails, paved sections, and a loop around the picturesque lake. Post-race, Halloween Festivities will be in full effect including a costume contest, stations for trick-or-treating and live music! Families and friends of participants are encouraged to come on down for some great breakfast foods, cheer for the "Scramblers", and then enjoy the merriment in the park. The sweetest part is that the proceeds from this race benefit Parks & People, an organization working to improve the quality of life in Baltimore's Neighborhoods. So forget running in circles around a track or monotonous treadmill workouts and join the diverse crew of athletes wanting to "Live More" with XTERRA. We challenge you to get outside, breathe some fresh air and remember just how good it feels to RUN WILD!
