PERSONAL:  Born September 1, 1977, lettered in swimming at the University of Connecticut.

 

XTERRA EXPERIENCE:  Eighth year. Has been the top American finisher at the XTERRA in Richmond 4 times (2002, 2003, 2004, 2006).  2002:  Placed fourth at the XTERRA East and USA Championships.  Finished seventh in the Pro Series. 2003:  Third at Richmond, and 15th in Tahoe. 2004:  Fourth in Richmond, 12th in Keystone, and 8th in Big Bear.  Finished 11th in the U.S. Pro Series, and fourth at the XTERRA World Championship (2nd American). 2005:  Finished 79th in Richmond, and DNF’d at Worlds. 2006:  Finished 8th in California, 7th in Alabama, 5th in Richmond and 4th in Milwaukee.  Did not race in Utah, was 20th in Tahoe, and 16th in Maui. 2007: Did not race.

 

LAST YEAR:  Won the Off-Road Duathlon National Championship in Richmond on April 26, placed 19th at the XTERRA West Champs, 4th at the Southeast Champs, 9th at the East Champs, and 23rd at XTERRA Worlds.

 

THIS YEAR: DNF at Atlantic Cup in Richmond and placed 10th at the XTERRA Northeast Cup.
