XTERRA Eco Team

As an XTERRA athlete, you know you LIVE MORE. Here's your opportunity to GIVE MORE! Join the XTERRA Eco Team to help protect the natural areas throughout our Global Tour and give back to the communities that host us.

What is the XTERRA Eco TEAM?

The Eco Team is an athlete initiated program to engage the XTERRA community in environmental initiatives to help protect and preserve the areas we race in, and give back to the communities that host us.

The program will start with two initiatives:

1. Organizing ecological restoration work parties at or near our race venues.
2. A gear recycling program for donation to local bicycle advocacy programs.

This is only the start – we have several other ideas, and want to hear yours.

Why are we doing this?

Because we love the outdoors, care for nature, and want to ensure that our great race venues are preserved for future XTERRA generations to enjoy. Our race courses often cross private lands that are only open to us on race day. Behind the scenes, a lot has to happen to guarantee our access, and it's time that we show our appreciation for the whole XTERRA experience.

What We Need:

To help us kick off the program this year, plan the events, and gauge the level of interest among athletes, we'd like to hear from you.

1. If we provide gear donation collection boxes at races, would you have items to donate?
2. Are you interested in joining the Eco Team to help coordinate these or other events in your area?
