Xterra Nat's this weekend... which would you choose to use? I used a pack last year and just wanted to get an idea of what others have found useful. Also, any different mounting systems that work well for easy access to the bottles on the fly? THanks in advance.

Its too late now, but I'd say it depends on how long you'll be out there. If you are Conrad or Christoph and can be done in 1.5 hours then bottles make some sense. If you're mid-pack and will be out for over 2 hours, a pack makes sense, especially if you aren't a fly weight. At 185, the weight of a pack isn't so much extra, and the warmth it provides isn't an issue this year or last.
So - what did you use?

I've always used a camelback, primarily because it's easier to remember to hydrate while racing, especially in a technical section, much easier to take a sip, just a very brief hand motion required. It does take an extra 5 seconds or so, in transition, but worth it for me. Also makes a pretty good cushion when biffing!
