Not for sure if this is the right forum or even Xterra is interested in possible new locations. I Just wanted to pass along a possible location, Snowshoe resort, at Snowshoe WV. It is a popular destination for mountain biking during the summer months, and they even hold Mountain bike races during the summer.

There are ample trails of varying distances and difficulty, and at the top of the mountain there is a man made lake, that might be able to be used for the swimming portion.

Snowshoe is a popular destination during in the summer and winter and there is ample things to due at the resort. Just thought I would throw it out there and see what the people think?

Thanks! We have talked to folks throughout the years about a race there. All of the XPS Races are independently produced, so we would need a Race Director to step up and put it on.

We do have a race in WV - XTERRA Big Bear - it was in the begnning of September. Check it out in 2012!
